ગઢડા અંત્ય-૭: વજ્રની ખીલીનું

મહિમા

એક વખત બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજ રણુ ગામમાં હતા. ત્યાં તુલજા માતાનું મંદિર છે, તે મંદિરમાં નીલકંઠ વર્ણી મહારાજ એક રાત રોકાયા હતા. ત્યાં દર્શન માટે સ્વામીશ્રી ગયા ત્યારે તે મંદિરના મહંત સ્વામીશ્રીને નીલકંઠ વર્ણીની પ્રસાદીની ગોદડી બતાવી. પછી તેમણે તેમની પાસે હિંદી વચનામૃત હતું તે સ્વામીશ્રીને ધર્યું અને કહ્યું, “આમાં આપના આશીર્વાદ લખી આપો કે આપનું પ્રિય વચનામૃત કયું છે?” સ્વામીશ્રીએ લખ્યું: “ગઢડા અંત્ય ૭, ૧૧ અને વડતાલ ૨૦.”

Once, Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swāmi Mahārāj was in the village of Ranu. Situated in the village is a shrine dedicated to Tulajā Mātā, where Nilkanth Varni had halted for one night during his travels. When Swāmishri proceeded there for darshan, the mahant of that mandir showed Swāmishri a quilt that had been sanctified by Nilkanth Varni. Thereafter, he showed the Hindi version of the Vachanāmrut that he owned to Swāmishri and requested, “Please kindly write your blessings in this Vachanāmrut and write which is your favorite Vachanāmrut.” Swāmishri wrote: “Vachanāmrut Gadhadā III-7, Gadhadā III-11 and Vartāl 20.”

મહિમા

આ વચનામૃત પરમ પૂજ્ય પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજનું પ્રિય વચનામૃત છે. તા. ૧/૧/૧૯૮૬ના રોજ સારંગપુરમાં તેઓને પૂછવામાં આવેલું, “આપનું વધુમાં વધુ પ્રિય વચનામૃત કયું અને શા માટે?”

ત્યારે સ્વામીશ્રીએ જણાવેલું, “આમ તો બધાં પ્રિય વચનામૃત છે. મહારાજનાં છે એટલે એમાં કોઈ પ્રિય-અપ્રિય જેવું નથી. પણ સ્વાભાવિક રીતે આપણને બધાં વચનામૃતમાં છેલ્લાનું સાતમું વચનામૃત છે એમાં જરા વધારે એ (પ્રિય) લાગે. તેમાં મહારાજ કહે છે: ‘જેને કલ્યાણ ઇચ્છવું હોય તેને માટે ભગવાન અને સંત વિના આ જગતમાં કોઈ વસ્તુ સુખદાયક નથી.’ એવું આપણા મનમાં બરોબર દૃઢ થયું હોય તો પછી આપણને પ્રત્યક્ષ ભગવાનમાં અખંડ પ્રીતિ, હેત રહે. એટલે સ્વાભાવિક રીતે એ (વચન) ઉપર આપણને વધારે રુચિ રહે કે આવું આપણા જીવમાં દૃઢ કરવું. પછી એને માટે જે કાંઈ કરવું પડે એ આપણે કરવાનું. એટલે એ ઉપર જરા વધારે રુચિ રહે કે આ એક વચનામૃત આપણે સિદ્ધ થાય ને આ રીતે કરીએ તો મહારાજ રાજી થઈ જાય.”

January 1, 1986, Sārangpur. This Vachanāmrut is Param Pujya Pramukh Swāmi Mahārāj’s favorite Vachanāmrut. Once, he was asked, “What is your most favorite Vachanāmrut and for what reason?”

Swāmishri revealed, “In a way, all Vachanāmruts are dear to me; therefore there is no such favorite or not favorite. However, I have a natural inclination towards Vachanāmrut Gadhadā III-7. In this Vachanāmrut, Mahārāj says, ‘Those that aspire to achieve ultimate liberation should not consider anything in this world to be more blissful than God and the Sant.’ If we have resolutely fixed this thought into our mind, we can maintain constant love and affinity towards the manifest form of God. Therefore, I have a natural liking for these words – that we have to consolidate this understanding in our jiva. This means we should do whatever we have to do for the Sant. So, I have a preference for this Vachanāmrut – that if we imbibe this one Vachanāmrut, Mahārāj will be pleased.”

નિરૂપણ

પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજે ગઢડા અંત્ય ૭મું વચનામૃત સમજાવતાં જણાવ્યું કે, “ગુણાતીત સંતમાં મહારાજ રહ્યા છે, તેનો મજીયારો વહેંચાતો નથી. ભગવાન અને સંતમાં સંશય તો કલ્યાણમાં સંશય, તે પાકું તો કલ્યાણનું પાકું. ભગવાનના ચરણ સત્પુરુષ છે. તેમાં મન રહે, તો ભગવાનમાં દૃઢ મન કરાવી દે. સંત ભગવાનમાં વૃત્તિ રખાવે છે.”

Pramukh Swāmi Mahārāj explained Vachanāmrut Gadhadā III-7: “Mahārāj resides in the Gunātit Sant. One cannot separate the two. Doubts in God and the Sant means doubts in one’s liberation. On the contrary, if one is convinced of God and the Sant, the their liberation is certain. The Satpurush is the feet of God. If one’s mind is fixed on the Satpurush, then he will ensure their mind will become fixed on God. The Sant is the one who helps one maintain their vrutti on God.”

પ્રસંગ

હરિભક્તસું રાખત પૂરન પ્યાર

તા. ૨૪/૫/૧૯૭૯, સાંકરી. પ્રાતઃપૂજા બાદ આરંભાયેલી કથામાં પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજ વચનામૃત(ગઢડા અંત્ય ૭)ના નિરૂપણ દરમ્યાન ભક્તનો પક્ષ રાખવાની અદ્‌ભુત વાતો કરવા લાગ્યા. તેમાં એક સત્સંગીને બચાવવા જતાં પોતે ત્રણ ગોળમટાં ખાઈ ગયેલાં તે પ્રસંગ પણ તેઓએ વિસ્તારથી કહ્યો. તેના અનુસંધાનમાં એક પાર્ષદે કહ્યું, “બાપા! આપે જે ભક્તને પક્ષ રાખી બચાવ્યા તે તો આપણું વાંકું બોલે છે!”

“તે આપણે જોવું નહીં.” સ્વામીશ્રીએ તરત જ પાળ બાંધતાં કહ્યું. પછી બોલ્યા, “તે હરિભક્ત તો છે જ ને! માટે આપણે તો પક્ષ રાખવો.”

આ શબ્દોમાંથી ઊડી રહેલી સ્વામીશ્રીની શુદ્ધ ભાવનાની છોળ્યોમાં સૌ તરબોળ થઈ ગયા. ‘હરિભક્તસું રાખત પૂરન પ્યાર...’ સમા તેઓએ કોઈનાય સ્વભાવ સામે જોયા વિના સૌને પ્રેમ પાયેલો.

Keeps Complete Affection Toward Devotees

May 24, 1979, Sankari. After morning puja, Pramukh Swami Maharaj spoke from Vachanamrut Gadhada III-7 about maintaining loyalty toward devotees. In his discourse, Swamishri talked in detail how he tumbled three times in an attempt to save another satsangi. Regarding this incident, a parshad said, “Bapa, the devotee you loyally saved actually speak ill of you!”

“Do not look at that!” Swamishri immediately countered. Then, he continued, “He is still a devotee. Therefore, maintain loyalty toward him.”

Pure sentiments flowed from these words and drenched everyone present. Swamishri maintained complete affection toward devotees while overlooking their base natures.

નિરૂપણ

તા. ૨૯/૧૦/૧૯૮૨ની સવારે તેઓએ વચનામૃત ગઢડા અંત્ય ૭ના આધારે કથામૃત પીરસતાં પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજે કહ્યું:

“સિદ્ધાંતમાં દુનિયાના ગમે તે છેડે જાય તોય ફેર ન પડે. ‘બધાં સુખનો આધાર ભગવાન છે’ તે દૃઢ થઈ જાય તો બીજે ક્યાંય પ્રતીતિ આવે નહીં ને કલ્યાણ માટે ક્યાંય દોડાદોડ કરવી ન પડે. અહીં સંત પાસે બેસશે તેની આબરૂ રહી છે ને રહેશે. મીરાંબાઈ, નરસિંહ મહેતા, દાદાખાચર, સગરામ, જેતલપુરના જીવણ કોળી વગેરે ભગવાન ને સંત પાસે બેઠાં તો તેમની આબરૂ વધી છે. તિલક-ચાંદલો બરાબર ભભકાદાર કરવો.

“ભગવાન ને સંત સાથે આત્મબુદ્ધિની દૃઢતા થઈ હોય તો ધાર્યું ન થવા દે ત્યારે પણ અભાવ ન આવે. કંઈ મુશ્કેલી આવે ને રક્ષા ન થવા દે ત્યારે પણ અભાવ ન આવે. દિવ્યભાવ રાખીને, બુદ્ધિ ગિરો મૂકીને કાર્ય કર્યા કરવું તો ધીરે ધીરે અંતઃશત્રુઓ જીતાઈ જશે. બજારમાં રખડતા હોય એવા આ બાવા નથી. તેમાં ને આમાં ઘણો ફેર છે.”

October 29, 1982; Amdavad. In the morning, Pramukh Swami Maharaj spoke enlightening words on Vachanamrut Gadhada III-7:

“No matter which end of the earth one may travel to, [a devotee of God] never loses his principles. ‘The source of all bliss is God’ - if that becomes firm, then one will not develop a liking for anyone else, and one will not have to run for their liberation. The reputation of one who sits here with the Sant has remained and will remain. Mirabai, Narsinha Mehta, Dada Khachar, Sagram, Jivan Koli of Jetalpur, and others sat (associated) with God and the Sant, so their reputation increased. One should apply the tilak-chāndlo prominently.

“If one has attachment to the Satpurush and if the Satpurush does not allow one’s liking to prevail, he would not develop an aversion to the Satpurush. If one encounters hardships and he does not protect one, one would still not develop an aversion. One should put effort while maintaining divya-bhāv and putting aside one’s logic, then one will conquer their internal enemies. This ascetic is not like the one who wanders in the bazaars. There is a great difference between them and this one (referring to himself).”

નિરૂપણ

તા. ૨૮/૯/૧૯૮૫ની ભાદરવી પૂનમે ગુણાતીત જન્મોત્સવની પ્રતીક ઉજવણી કરીને પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજ તા. ૨૯/૯ની સવારે રાબેતા મુજબની સભામાં પધાર્યા ત્યારે બાલમુકુંદદાસ સ્વામી ગઢડા અંત્ય પ્રકરણના સાતમા વચનામૃત પર નિરૂપણની શરૂઆત કરવા જ જઈ રહેલા. પરંતુ સ્વામીશ્રીએ કહ્યું, “લાવો, હું સમજાવું...” એમ બોલતાં તેઓ એ ‘વચનામૃત’ની રસલહાણ કરાવવા લાગ્યા:

“આટલું જ સમજવાનું કે એક વખત ભગવાનના આશ્રિત થયા એટલે આપણને દુઃખ આપનારોય કોઈ નથી ને સુખ આપનારોય કોઈ નથી. આ તો ‘બાઈ બાઈ ચારણી...’ની જેમ બધે માંગતા ફરે. પછી ‘ઝાઝા ઘરનો પરોણો ભૂખે મરે’ એવું થાય. માટે આ જે મળ્યા છે એથી બીજે ક્યાંય ફાંફાં ન મારવાં. આ લોકમાં કદાચ દુઃખ આપે, પણ અંતે અક્ષરધામ આપવું છે. એમનો અભાવ ન આવવા દેવો, કારણ કે એ તો આપણી બેસવાની ડાળ છે. સુખ-શાંતિની ડાળ છે. એ ન ભાંગે એ જોવું. પછી મનમાં બીક ન રાખવી કે, ‘હું ભૂત થઈશ કે શું થઈશ?’ ભૂત હોય તેય આપણાથી ભાગે, તો પછી આપણે ક્યાંથી થવાના?”

On September 28, 1985, after celebrating Gunatitanand Swami’s birth, Pramukh Swami Maharaj arrived in the assembly when Balmukund Swami was starting to explain Vachanamrut Gadhada III-7. Swamishri said, “Let me explain.” And he started to explain, “This is all we need to understand: once we have accepted the refuge of God, no one else can give us misery, nor can anyone else give us happiness. If one goes elsewhere (other than God) for happiness, then that is like a wealthy person dying of hunger. Therefore, one should not turn to anyone else other than whom one has attained. In this world, God may give misery, but in the end, he will give us Akshardham. One should not find flaws in God, because he is the branch we are sitting on - he is the branch of happiness and peace. One should take care this branch is not cut. Then, one should not fear, such as: ‘What if I become a ghost?’ Actually, a ghost will run away from us, so how will be become a ghost?”
